About Janne Ojajärvi
I am a Finnish musician and educator dedicated to the ancient sound of the Nordic overtone flute. My passion lies in bridging the gap between centuries-old Nordic traditions and modern musical expression.
With a Master’s degree in Folk Music and a background in sound design, I perform with a wide range of instruments, including harmonicas, jaw harps (mouth harps), and throat singing.
With years of experience in performing and teaching the willow flute (pitkähuilu), I created this platform to be a global home for enthusiasts—especially for the growing community of world music lovers in the United States and beyond.
Whether you are a beginner looking for your first tutorial or a professional searching for authentic sheet music, I am here to guide you through the unique harmonic world of this finger-holeless instrument.
